Turquoise – The Color of Greece

After many months of unexpected global quarantine finally it’s time to travel and slowly but surely get back to normal.  This time choice fell on Greece – one of the most beautiful country with rich history, captivating culture, spectacular beaches, stunning landscapes and the vibrant gastronomy.

I’m impressed how picturesque small greek towns and islands are. Greece is overflowing with whitewashed houses and blue windows, but you can also notice repeated emphasise of turquoise color. If you watched Mamma Mia 2 you would probably notice that costume and set designers paid  huge attention to details and it’s easy to spot turquoise color intertwining with most scenes.

Turquoise, the sea-green stone of the ancients, represents protection, good fortune, and hope. Ancient peoples believed in its profound power to protect, as well as its tranquil energy and enduring love.  To me turquoise is a positive color that keeps me connected with the coastal lifestyle.
